I started my blog when I got separated from my husband. I have always loved to travel and I couldn’t accept a reality where I didn’t travel with my kids. I needed to find a means to make some money as a newly single mother who desperately wanted to continue creating travel memories with my family.
I have a HORRIBLE memory. Blogging allows me to document my trips. I now have a place to record my memories, attach excursion links, and place my photos. Each vacation is documented into my computerized memory bank. I also have a place to write up places I would like to visit in the future.
There are many ways to monetize a blog. Affiliate marketing, advertisements, become a free-lance blogger, create and sell online courses, and partnering with influencers. I am NOT a blogging expert but I do know there are plenty of opportunities in the online blogging world.
Turn inward to figure out what you are most passionate about, find your niche, and begin!
