Tranquilseas is an eco-resort in Roatan that has been developed with the environment and community in mind. This all inclusive diving and vacation package includes jungle cabanas and PADI dive services. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in nature, to dive, snorkel, do yoga and eat amazing food…. then this is the place for you.
Tranquilseas only has seven rooms which means each guest is taken care of. The rooms are separate houses with views of the sea. The private terrace includes hammocks and sunbeds. Rooms come with air conditioning, a safe, shower cabin, water dispenser, and mini-cooler. You have the option of including breakfast with your room or making it all inclusive.
Tranquilseas offers everything in one place. The dive center has all the dive equipment needed and will take you to the best diving locations in the area. Yoga is done on site with experienced teachers. The hotel has its own kitchen with a variety of local and international cuisine.
This is Tranquilseas. This is where time has stopped. This is where you can just be. Just be, feel the sun on your face, the wind in your hair, and the taste of Caribbean rum on your tongue.
Tranquilseas uses only ecological cleaning detergents, avoids chemicals and tries to minimize its’ impact on the environment. All of the guests are given a bottle which can be refilled with drinking water from the dispensers available in every room. I love water dispensers!! There are no single use packaging, straws or plastic cups.
The restaurant found within Tranquilseas is Sunken Fish. An outdoor terrace provides outstanding views of the Caribbean sea and sunset. Enjoy Friday nights with live music or the Tuesday night tapas with music from a Spanish guitar. The food is locally sourced and fresh.
Roatan is a paradise for divers! Sea Divers is the dive shop on site. Everyone working at Sea Divers is experienced diving at the second largest barrier reef in the world. Their private boat offers up to three dives a day. You can choose between a beginners dive, advanced dive, snorkeling and special dives. Full service is provided for every dive and preparation.
Yoga is offered everyday on the main building’s top floor, which is completely open. Group classes or individual classes are available. The hotel also offers week long yoga retreats, ecompassing yoga, meditation and Quantum training. These retreats include daily smoothies and a boat trip to the reef.
There are a number of activities available to book through the resort:
- A trip to the island of Cayos Cochinos
- A trip to the island of Pigeon Key
- A trip to the islands of Little French Key and Big French Key
- A trip to the Copan Ruins
- Swimming and a picnic at a natural beach
- A trip on a catamaran

Hand lining is an ancient fishing technique. There is no pole used, just hook and line. Without the use of a pole you get a great fight with all the open water fish found in the Caribbean. Reception can set you up with a boat and captain to teach you this ancient form.

Awesome!!! We have visited Roatan a few times and have probably walked on the beach in front of this great place.
We loved Roatan and have been wanting to go back! This looks like the perfect place to stay when we do! Thanks!
Love smaller boutiques and with only seven rooms this would be perfect for us. And an eco-friendly place is an added bonus.
Such a beautiful and peaceful looking resort! I’d love a week there.
