Consider this to be the PERFECT year for RV vacations. After being cooped up in our homes for the last few months, so much uncertainty around international travel and the uncomfortable feelings of being contained in an airplane….. RV exploration is the way to go.
RVs provide a self contained way to live an active outdoor life as well as experience new places. RV travel allows people to sleep in their own bed, cook gourmet meals, and control where they go. They provide the ultimate in quarantine, being used by medical professionals as well as by others for self isolation.
RVs range from small towables to large motorhomes and many of them are designed to be completely self-contained with generators, solar panels, and laundry facilities, allowing RVers to live off-the-grid for weeks at a time. RVs allow you to choose where to go, when to go, and what to experience.

Great idea! I would love to rent an RV and go ANYWHERE!
I’ll have to check this out. I would love to do an RV road trip because I feel like it’s easier than having to set up a tent every night, but it is always so expensive. For our last trip it was going to cost us $4000 just for the rental. We ended up not doing that and spent half that for everything for the entire trip. I hope I can find a good deal!
I’d love to do this. Great idea for this summer
This sounds cool! My parents have an RV, and we used to have a pop-up camper until a tree fell on it. I do like camping, so maybe this would be the way to go until we buy another camper someday. Great info!
So awesome!! We’ve been trying to find an inexpensive RV to rent – everyone seems to want to travel that way right now. I could literally fly to Hawaii on points cheaper than I can rent an RV for a family of six (if they were actually open to mainlanders). I even looked into the “return” deals where you relocate them. The whole world is RV’ing right now! I’ll check out your link and see if I can make it happen. Thanks so much!!
I wish we would’ve rented an RV before we bought one. I think it would’ve given us a better idea of what features we needed/didn’t need, and what layout we preferred.
I would love to rent from RVShare hopefully I can soon!
It would be cool to rent a RV and travel around and see the National Parks.
As a former and future RV owner, I can’t wait to get out on the road again. RVing for life no matter how you make it happen!
This would be so fun! My parents always had RVs and I’ve traveled with them across the country. Driving one though…I’d have to let someone else take the wheel! It’s a great way to travel though.
I’ve been looking into RVShare…it does seem like a perfect lodging alternative during these times.
My sister and I were talking about this the other night. It is tempting to do.
